How to use
Apply to lips every two hours for continued sun protection and shine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure; Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming, sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every two hours. Children under 6 months of age, ask a doctor. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad-Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, from 10 am - 2 pm and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. WARNING: For external use only. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. If any adverse reaction occurs, stop using the product. Inform your doctor if your condition persists. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash or irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

    Apply Sunforgettable®Total Protection™Face Shield SPF 15 minutes before exposure to environmental aggressors. Like all SPF products, reapply every 2 hours. For convenient all-day reapplication on-the-go or directly over makeup, use the Total Protection™Brush-on Shield SPF 50.

    How long will the product last?

    If applied once daily as recommended, Sunforgettable®Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF will last approximately 90 days.

    Do I need to moisturize before? / Does this replace my moisturizer?

    Although Sunforgettable®Total Protection™Face Shield SPF was formulated with ingredients that help to hydrate and nourish, it is best applied to moisturized skin, particularly for those who have dry or fragile skin.

    Is this product safe for sensitive skin?

    Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF is 100% mineral environmental protection that is free of chemical active ingredients, oil free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types.  If you have known allergies or specific ingredient sensitivities, we always recommend consulting your skin health professional before introducing a new product.

    Total Protection™ Face Shield SPF is 100% mineral protection (free of chemical active ingredients), oil free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and is suitable for all skin types.

    Is there a color/tint to it?

    Sunforgettable®Total Protection™ Face Shield Classic SPF 50 is lightly tinted due to the coloring of iron oxides. However, when it is applied on the skin, the formula allows it to blend in sheer unlike other mineral sunscreen care products.

    Sunforgettable®Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex SPF 50 is tinted and tone-adapting.

    Is it water-or-sweat resistant?

    Yes, Sunforgettable®Total Protection™Face Shield SPF is water/sweat resistant for up to 40 minutes.

    What is Enviroscreen®  Technology?

    EnviroScreen® Technology is proprietary to Colorescience®. EnviroScreen® Technology uses patented active ingredients, Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, that create a barrier preventing free radical formation and oxidative stress. These patented actives are combined with specialty ingredients that, together, work synergistically to protect skin from damage caused by exposure to UVA/UVB rays, pollution, blue light (also known as High Energy Visible, or HEV, light), and infrared radiation.

    Can I use Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ products on babies?

    Sunforgettable®Total Protection™Face Shield SPF 50 is safe to apply to 6 months and older. As with all sunscreen products, consult your physician for use on children under 6 months of age.
    All Total Protection™products use only non-chemical zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide as sunscreen active ingredients.  The FDA recognizes only these two sunscreen active ingredients as safe and effective.

    Are Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ products chemical free?

    Yes, Colorescience uses only mineral (also known as physical) sunscreen active ingredients, zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide in all of our sunscreen products.  These are the only 2 sunscreen actives the FDA recognizes as safe and effective.  Colorescience has never and will never use any chemical sunscreen actives.

    So convenient and nice to have sunscreen that is fun to wear. I've worn sunscreen daily,summer and winter for years, but just recently this lip gloss. Love it! A bit pricey, but it lasts forever.

    I'm addicted to some sort of chapstick / lip moisture. The extra sun protection makes this gloss super helpful. A little sticky maybe in feel, but aside from my cocoa butter chapstick everything kinda does.
